ATOM, U11, 2019-2020, A (Milton Minor Hockey)

The 2009 Milton Winterhawks Atom "A" team have the honour of hosting the Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) Championships, Which will take place  the weekend of April 9-12th for the top 5 teams in all of Ontario.   The OHF Championship will take place at our flagship arena, The Milton Sports Centre located at 605 Santa Maria Blvd.

The Milton Winterhawks Atom A team participated in the Halton Children's Aid Society Holiday Program for the second year in a row. This program aims to brighten the holiday season by providing gifts and necessities to those who have been referred to the Holiday Program.

Our Atom A Winterhawks had a another successful tournament representing team Canada at the Nation's Cup in Utica Michigan. Our 4-1 record helped clinch the Nations Cup championship for our 09' silver division! Great job Winterhawks!

This past Thanksgiving weekend, the Milton Winterhawks Atom A team competed in the Halton Best of the Best Tournament. In the opening game of the tournament, the Winterhawks faced one of their league rivals the Burlington Eagles.  It was a back and forth battle however, Milton walked away with a 2-1 victory.  The second game was against an unfamiliar team the Peterborough Petes.   The play went back and forth with both goalies coming up huge for their team and the game ended in a 1-1 tie.  

The Milton Winterhawks Atom A team participated in The Pink Ribbon Campaign on October 5, 2019. The boys were divided into shifts outside the Metro located at Kennedy Circle.
