MINOR BANTAM, 2019-2020, A (Milton Minor Hockey)

On Jan. 4, Milton's Minor Bantam AA, A and AE White teams gave back to the community with a public skate for charity at John Tonelli Sports Centre.  The teams raised $2,685 through donations, a raffle, bake sale and silent auction, and collected 18 boxes of clothing, food and games to help the shelter continue its important work in the community.   The teams would like to thank all those who organized and supported this fun event. 

On Saturday, Nov. 9, the Milton Minor Bantam A Winterhawks gave an assist to Movember by sporting moustaches on photo day to generate awareness of men's health issues including testicular cancer, prostate cancer, anxiety and suicide.  The team has also carried out awareness activities for breast cancer and is planning a charity event for the holiday break. On Sunday, Sept. 8, the Milton Minor Bantam A Winterhawks beat the Aurora Tigers 3-0 to win the Niagara Falls Early Bird Tournament at the Gale Centre.  The win capped off an undefeated weekend for the boys, having tied Aurora 1-1 in the opener, and then topping the Welland Tigers 5-2 and Burlington Eagles Gold 2-0 on Saturday.
