Milton PeeWee AE White Winterhawks win Silver Stick qualifier in Alliston
On Nov. 4, the Milton PeeWee AE White Winterhawks edged
the Clarington Toros 2-0 in a tight game to capture the Alliston Silver Stick regional
qualifier and the right to move on to the International Silver Stick hockey
tournament in January.
The win capped off a weekend where the Winterhawks went
undefeated in five games and out scored their opponents 26-6, earning three
shutout wins in the process.
The Silver Stick International tournaments, which
features teams from across Ontario and the United States, happens from Jan.
10-13 in Pelham, Ontario.
