PeeWee Blue, U13, 2016-2017, AE (Milton Minor Hockey)

The weekend of November 24th-27th saw the Milton Winterhawks Peewee AE Blue travel to Pittsburgh PA for the Annual Thanksgiving Classic, competing in the A division of the tournament.  Following preliminary round wins over Parma Flyers (3-2), Aurora Tigers (5-2) and the Armstrong Arrows (5-2), the Winterhawks met the Aurora Tigers in the final.  In a hard fought close checking game the Winterhawks fell short in a 2-1 loss.  In addtion to a strong showing in the tournament the team had a great time bonding at team events and at the hotel in what will surely be a highlight amongst many for this ...

In a short time, the boys have developed very well and demonstrated what it takes to be a team as was evident in our Oshawa Cup Tournament where they made it to the Championship Game.
