U16 A Winterhawks are OMHA Champions
On April 10, the U16 A Winterhawks completed an undefeated weekend in the OMHA finals by winning a coveted Red Hat and taking the title as champions. The squad completed their impressive run with a 4-1 win over the #4-ranked Orillia Terriers after beating the #3-ranked Oakville Rangers (Red) in the semi-finals earlier in the day.
This is the first A-level Red Hat for Milton in many years, and the first ever for the U16 A age group.
The coaches and players would like thank their families for their support all season long, and to the many people who came out to support the team in Whitby this past weekend. The team would also like to thank the MMHA for their support through a challenging COVID year, and the OMHA for providing a great platform for the boys to play this great game.
