Squirt and Mite Team Evaluations

The evaluation schedule for the 2015-2016 Squirt and Mite Teams is attached below.
Please register on line at least 48 hours prior to the tryout date.
Click on the REGISTRATION banner, scroll to the bottom and proceed to REGISTRATION.

Space is limited.

Please note that you must attend the first session based on your last name and you will be invited to a 2nd / 3rd session, as required. You must be available for all sessions to be considered for the Squirt / Mite programs. At this time ONLY players born in 2009 will be eligible for the Squirt / Mite programs. Based on enrolment numbers and player ability some 2010 born players maybe placed in the Squirt program. The evaluation for 2010 players will occur after the beginning of the TimBit season. Only 2009 players will be eligible for the Mite program. Please pre register and pay the applicable fee for the evaluation online at least 48 hours prior to the initial tryout.  Please note that both the Squirt and Mite programs require and an additional league fee, to be paid once you have been invited to play on the team.

Coaches for the Squirt and Mite programs will be announced following the placement of players. If you are interested in coaching please contact me directly.

Below is a description of both programs.

Squirt Program
This program will be for advanced 2009 birth year players and create an avenue to prepare more hockey players for Rep Hockey at the Tyke level. The Squirt Program will be for the 2009 birth year (some 2010 birth year players maybe placed in the program based on enrolment and development level). Players will be required to attend evaluation skates ($25) to determine their suitability for this program.

•4 teams
•2 practices per week (Sept. – Nov.)
•1 practice, 1 scrimmage per week (Nov. – Dec.)
•1 practice, 1 development session (total 8), 1 game per week (Jan. – Mar.)

Fees – basic league fees + $350 for additional ice time and development sessions

Mite Team
The Mite Team will be team created from players in 2009 birth year players ONLY. This program will be for highly advanced 2009 birth year players only and players will play in the Novice house league (2007 birth year).

•2 practices per week
•1 game per week (Novice house league)
•Up to 3 exhibition games / per month (Dec. - Mar.)
•2 Tournaments (maximum) (Dec. - Mar.)
•Additional league jersey

Fees - basic league fees + top up to Novice house league fee + additional fee (TBD) to cover league jersey, tournaments, etc.
