Milton Winterhawks Minor Atom MD are the Brampton Intracity Champions!

This weekend the boys ended their season with a 4-3 victory over the Brampton Bulldogs!  This is a team who defeated us twice in close games in the playoff round Robin, and with who we had a 1-1-4 record for the regular season.

But this new MD team, most of whom played house league last year, just kept getting stronger all season long. The game was filled with solid passes, speed, and great goals.

Our tough defense of Ryan Alvarez, Jack Devlin, Jack Gaudet, Jackson Farrow, Patrick Jakubek, and Braydon McGarry,  kept the Bulldogs away from Christian Ortiz, who was in net this game, alternating with goalie Colten Smith.

Cole Philips started us off with the first goal, followed by Tait Porter, and then two in a row, including the winning goal, from Lenny Lalonde. Our offense is rounded out with John Allingham, Tyler Dennis, Alex Gallagher, Nolan Gover, Justin Greening, and Kyle Kulina.

Many thanks to the coaches John Demeo, Jeff McGarry, Ross Porter, and trainer Jason Farrow.

We would also like to send out condolences to the Brampton Bulldogs, who lost their head coach Henry after a long battle with brain cancer this season.
