REGISTRATION OPENS APRIL 1st!
Milton Minor Hockey Association uses the Hockey Canada (Spordle) platform for registration.  All information requested through the registration process is deemed necessary by Hockey Canada.

PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION THOROUGHLY

NOTE: Hockey Canada uses the “U”(age) system.  For example, a U9 child would be Under 9, or 8 years old in the registration calendar year.

In step with Ontario Minor Hockey Association mandated processes, we will have 3 different types of registrations available- two of which will be accessible from our home page.  To better understand our program offerings, please carefully read our Explanation of Levels of Play

1.      Evaluation (formerly known as “tryout”) Registration opens April 1st– for U8-U18 players attending Spring Evaluations for Advanced Houseleague/MD and Rep Teams. U7MD and U21AA Evaluations will be held in the fall.

2.      Rep/MD/Advanced Houseleague Season Registration – for U8-U8 players, after evaluations, if offered a spot on a team – Private registration sign up- please see your coach.

3.      Houseleague Season Registration – Public registration Opening April 1st.

EVALUATION Registration for U8 to U18 Rep, MD, and Advanced Houseleague opened April 1st. This does NOT include the season registration or accompanying team fees.  A link to the Evaluation registration packages will be posted on our website on April 1. ONLY register for Evaluations if you plan on being evaluated for a Rep, MD or Adv HL team. As a Hockey Canada sanctioned program, Milton is obligated to abide by the OHF season dates calendar for Evaluations.  DO NOT REGISTER FOR HOUSELEAGUE PROGRAMMING unless your player is NOT successful making a team on a Rep/MD or AHL team.

·        Refer to the Evaluation Policy and schedule and refund Policy posted on our website, for the process and more details.

·        Body Contact Skills: U14’s (2013) attending evaluations at the AA or A level, or those considering affiliating for AA or A, must complete the one-time introductory body contact skills clinics prior to Evaluations.  As per OHF guidelines, these clinics are ONLY available to players rostered to a MMHA team in the 2025-26 season.  A signup link was emailed to families.

·        Goalie skills:  Refer to Evaluation schedule. Goalies are expected to attend. As per OHF guidelines, these clinics are ONLY available to players rostered to a MMHA team in the 2025-26 season.  A signup link was emailed to families.

·        U8-U11 Skills Sessions: Hockey Canada mandates 4 OPTIONAL skills sessions for players and goalies entering U8-U11 programming. Refer to Evaluation schedule.  A per OHF guidelines, these clinics are ONLY available to players and goalies rostered to a MMHA team in the 2025-26 season.  A signup link was emailed to families.

REP/MD/Advanced Houseleague Season Registration: After evaluations, if a player is offered a spot on a Rep/MD or Advanced Houseleague Team, they will be directed to a private store to register for their team for the season.  Link to this store must not be shared with anyone other than the player/player’s family being provided the offer.  The link is for the player only and not for siblings. Please refer to the Evaluation policy. Registration to the team will constitute the player’s commitment to playing for Milton for the season. If a player is not offered a spot on a MD/Rep or Advanced Houseleague Team, they will have the opportunity to register for houseleague programming.

HOUSELEAGUE ONLY Registration: Houseleague ONLY registration (not including Advanced Houseleague or any players still participating in evaluations) for U5 to U21 players will be open from April 1st until spaces fill, or beginning January, whichever comes first.   Access registration link from our home page. Early Bird Pricing ends August 15th. Please refer to our program info tab on our website for the most up to date info on our houseleague programs.

TO COMPLETE YOUR REGISTRATION: Registration for the season is not considered complete or confirmed until full payment has been received and for new players, the one-time Shift Forward (Replacing the Respect in Sport) online course has been completed. New players may also be required to submit proof of age and current address prior to registration being confirmed.  Hockey Canada and the OMHA require a passport or birth certificate as proof of age and a parent’s driver’s license as proof of current address.  Registration is NOT dependent on residency.  Please be prepared to upload these documents to your Registration Account (Spordle) during the registration process.
