Our Winterhawks family was devastated to hear the news that after a courageous battle, one of our players, Zach Gibson succumbed to cancer last Wednesday.

Zachary played in our houseleague program for a number of years and is remembered fondly. His most recent coach notes Zachary was a wonderful teammate, a hardworking player, and a genuinely kind young man.
His team held a moment of silence prior to their game this past Sunday. It was wonderful to see representatives from all of Zach's previous teams come by to honor Zach and to help support the team.
The team is sporting "Zach Strong" shoulder patches this season in remembrance of Zach.
