Dear Milton Minor Hockey Association Members,
I hope this message finds you well and brimming with enthusiasm for the start
of another thrilling hockey season! As we lace up our skates and get ready to
hit the ice, I wanted to extend a warm welcome to all players, coaches,
volunteers, and families. Your dedication and passion are what make this
community truly special, and I am thrilled to embark on this journey with you.
First,
I would like to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to Aaron
Fernandes, our past President. Aaron, your leadership and dedication have been
truly motivating. Thank you for everything you have done over the years to
elevate our association.
I am honoured and grateful for the opportunity to step into this exciting role
as your new President. The commitment and camaraderie within this association
are incredibly inspiring, and I am eager to build upon the strong foundation
that has been established. Together, we will strive to ensure that every
member, from our youngest players to our seasoned athletes, has a rewarding and
enjoyable experience.
As we move forward, I want to emphasize the importance of community
involvement, player development, and strengthening our association. Your
support, feedback, and involvement are crucial as we work together to make this
a fantastic season for everyone involved. I welcome feedback from our members,
as your input is essential in guiding our association. Please feel free to
reach out with any constructive feedback. Let us know what we're getting right
and where we can improve. While our decisions are generally based on guidelines
from our guiding bodies, (Hockey Canada, Ontario Hockey Federation and the
Ontario Minor Hockey Association) we also value member feedback.
This season promises to be filled with development, teamwork, and unforgettable
memories. Let's embrace the challenges and celebrate the victories, big and
small, that lie ahead.
