Good morning to our newest Hockey Parents!!

I am sure many of you and your players are excited about the upcoming hockey season and beginning to look for information.  Our main vehicle for communication is the league webpage (www.miltonwinterhawks.com).  On the webpage you will find important information related to the Association and the League.  Information specific to the Beginner Program can be found in the House League section under Beginner.  Our program will run on Saturdays either from 7:00AM to 7:45AM or 7:45AM to 8:15AM on Rink D at the Milton Sports Centre beginning Saturday, October 18th.  Your ice time will rotate throughout the year between these times.  The specific schedule for the year will be available soon.

We need parent on-ice helpers.  Please let me know if you are able to be on the ice during the session to help run drills, etc.  As an Association, we take care of all practice planning and practice plans.

We do have pre-season ice available this weekend for the Beginner Program.  Ice is available from 2:00PM to 3:00PM on Rink C at the Milton Sports Centre Saturday September 27th.  We will have some of our players from the Rep program on the ice with the players.  As this is likely the first time many of our Beginners have been on the ice with full hockey equipment is this a great opportunity to get them going before the season starts.  I will also be available to answer any questions or address any concerns during this time.  Please note that players MUST be in full hockey equipment.  A hockey jersey and socks will NOT be provided for this ice session.  Uniforms will be provided once teams are created and the season starts.

Thank you and I look forward to seeing you on Saturday.

Go Wintehawks GO
