SEASONAL STRUCTURE

Evaluations for these teams will occur in the Fall. Once teams are selected, there will be a development phase between the end of evaluations and the beginning of the season.

Each team will play 20 - 24 league games and will participate in tournaments and jamborees.

Once the season has completed, each division will have a wrap-up weekend.

The league will consist of Under 8 and Under 9 leagues, tiered to match like-skilled players against each other. Under 8s will play half-ice all season, while the Under 9s will start at half-ice and transition to full-ice games January 15th in accordance with the Hockey Canada U9 Pathway.

This league will provide the best opportunity for our young athletes to develop and compete in Hockey Canada sanctioned programming.
