OMHA Vaccine policy update
Dear members, On September 15 we sent out a memo regarding the Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA) reviewing its vaccination policy in light of the provincial government’s announcement regarding its vaccine passport.

The OMHA Board of Directors met this past Saturday to discuss this issue and decided that the current OMHA vaccination policy will remain in place without any changes.

As previously communicated, the OMHA vaccination policy states that all coaches, trainers, volunteers service providers and players born in 2009 or earlier will need to be fully vaccinated (meaning two doses of a Health Canada-approved vaccine + 14 days after second dose was administered) by October 31, 2021, to participate in OMHA-sanctioned events.

As one of the OMHA's 219 member associations, we are required to enforce this policy at a local level.  Please read the OMHA communication here.
