2020-21 Season Update
The 2020-2021 season has been one of stops, starts and unfulfilled expectations. One of our main goals at the beginning of this season was to provide our players with an opportunity to play a sport they love while providing as safe of an environment as possible to protect against Covid-19. If we measure the season this way it has been a success despite the inability for us to participate in traditional 5 on 5 hockey.
Unfortunately, due to the current Province wide shutdown, the uncertainty of when we can return to play and the increased spread of the new Covid-19 variants, the decision has been made to cancel the balance of our season.
Details regarding prorated refunds for those who were still registered for the April and May programming will be sent out in a separate email.
The board would like to express our appreciation to the Town of Milton for working with us throughout the season to ensure we could continue to provide programming. Without their willingness to find solutions to various issues, our season could have ended in November.
While this has been a tough season the planning for the 2021-2022 season has already begun with registration tentatively scheduled to begin in June. Details will be emailed to all current members and posted on our website in early June.
Thank you to all our coaches, trainers, volunteers and parents for helping keep our players engaged and safe through out the season. In addition we would like to thank our Admin staff who have had to scramble every time the Covid-19 rules changed to ensure the schedules and protocols were updated.
Wishing everyone health and happiness. Please take care and stay safe.
