Given this weeks Ontario wide COVID
lockdown announcement from the Government of Ontario, the MMHA must once again cease
hockey operations until January 23, 2021.
This is a difficult time for everyone, and we see how the lockdowns and COVID-19 has taken its toll on organized sport.
We, the MMHA Board of Directors, understand the importance sport plays, along with the positive impact it brings both mentally and physically to our members and players.
The board will continue to work with our governing agencies, and the Town of Milton, to finalize a plan and programming for both our Representative Stream and House League. We will have an update to our membership by January 15th, 2021.
The Winterhawks are, and will continue to be committed, to getting as many players back on the ice, keep the adaptive programming in place as permitted, and provide the opportunity for our children to stay physically active.
Please be reminded that our offices are closed until January 4th, 2021.
Thank you for your continued patience during this time. We look forward to the New Year, and to strapping the skates on as soon as possible.
Continue to encourage our young players to stay positive, active, and we all will get through these trying times.
We wish your families the best during this holiday season.
Stay safe.
MMHA Board of Directors
