Minor Bantam teams raise nearly $2,700 for Halton Women’s Place   On Jan. 4, Milton’s hockey community scored again as the Winterhawks Minor Bantam AA, A and AE White teams held a public skate in support of Halton Women’s Place at John Tonelli Sports Centre.    The teams raised a total of $2,685 at the event through donations, a silent auction and a bake sale, and collected 18 boxes of clothing, food and games to help Halton Women’s Place continue its important work in the community.   The teams would like to thank all those who supported the event for their generosity and community spirit.
