2006 Update
Submitted By Tanya Croke on Monday, May 7, 2018
Dear 2006 Parents, Guardians & Players,

The MMHA is continually looking to improve the programming it provides to the many players whether in the Rep, MD or House League stream. Back in March at the time of Rep/MD coach announcements for 2018-2019, we were hopeful to ice the following teams for the 2006 age group at the Rep & MD level:
AA
A (White)
A (Blue)
AE
MD

As some of you may or may not be aware, there has been significant player movement within the 2006 age group during tryouts and it has become apparent that having 2 teams at the A level is not in the best interest of the age group. We always want to try and have as many  players play at as high a level as possible, but at the same time need to be mindful that it is also important to not have players competing at a level where they struggle and may not have as much fun playing hockey, which is our number one priority. This decision was not made in isolation and in fact all of the 2006 coaches were asked for their input prior to this decision being made as they have the most insight into the players in the age group.

With that said we will be icing teams at the following levels at the 2006 age group for the 2018-2019 season:
AA
A
AE (White)
AE (Blue)
MD
Please feel free to contact me directly with any questions or concerns.
Yours in Hockey
