Good afternoon,
We are happy to announce that Milton Minor Hockey will continue to
provide free Goalie Development for our Houseleague and Advanced Houseleague
Goalies and those houseleague players interested in the position, for the
2023-2024 hockey season!
We will once again use THE CREASE GOALTENDING ACADEMY to run our
goalie clinics.
Weekly clinics will start Monday, October 16, with 3 slots
available (4:30, 5:30 and 6:30pm).
Sessions will be held at Milton Sports Centre, Rink B. The
schedule will be posted to the website. Please keep an eye out for
potential rink changes.
All dedicated houseleague
goalies registered with Milton
Winterhawks are invited and encouraged to attend.
For houseleague teams without dedicated goalies, we encourage
them to send one player a week (ideally the player who will be in net for the
upcoming game).
In order to ensure that there is an appropriate instructor to
player ratio, you will be required to sign up at www.creasetraining.com or you can click this link: https://app.timetrade.com/tc/login.do?url=creasetraining
(NOTE: When booking on site,
block 1 is at 4pm but ice starts at 430pm, block 2 is at 5pm but ice starts at
530pm, block 3 is at 6pm but ice starts at 630PM)
When filling
out your profile on the www.creasetraining.com website please
include your TEAM/Level (ie U8/9 team 1 or U10/11 team 2 etc.).
Under How did
you hear about us- let us know if you are a full time houseleague goalie or a
houseleague player trying goaltending out.
If you are a full time houseleague goalie and want to
attend weekly, you can book 1 time spot per Monday for all the dates available.
If you
book a spot, we anticipate you will attend that day at that time and will send
the appropriate number of instructors. If you need to cancel a
session, the system will allow you to cancel up to 48 hrs in advance.

WINDOW, PLEASE EMAIL [email protected] so another goalie can potentially attend)
As
noted, this program is also available for houseleague players that
want to try goaltending out. Simply register for the week you want to
attend, so we have your information and can expect your goaltender.

Please
note that all costs will be covered by Milton Winterhawks, and we will endeavor to distribute players
evenly throughout all timeslots.
Also,
the Crease encourages REGISTERED
WITH MMHA coaches, assistant coaches,
siblings or teammates to
come out and shoot on
goalies. Please let us know the sessions you will be assisting by emailing us. Adults must wear helmets (done up) and gloves. Players must
be in full equipment. Note:
everyone on the ice MUST be registered as a bench staff or player with MMHA for
this season.
Lastly,
I just want to remind all parents and players to be respectful to the
instructors on the ice.
